Dazed and Confused

Sitting atop
A old swampy log
She gazes off blankly
Lost in time

Dead to the world
Where did he go
Left with nothing
But a small rice bowl

The rendezvous had been
Going so well
Then a mention of a new friend
Sent him to hell

He got so angry
And walked off in a storm
Took the wrong way
A miscommunication
